Morgan was a featured actress in AIDS prevention and educational video Safe Sex for Men and Women. Some of the proceeds went to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is part of the entertainment industry's AIDS Task Force. Morgan is a member of the entertainment industry's AIDS Task Group. She has also spearheaded numerous other fundraising initiatives to combat AIDS and has testified before a particular Congressional Committee regarding AIDS Education. She is member of the board of Governors of APLA and the Board of Directors of Amfar. C. Everett Koop asked her several times to assume his place at AIDS events. And she co-hosted a AIDS Awareness Special alongside anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell has interviewed her twice about AIDS during Nightline. Morgan is nominated to be an Emmy award winner in Diane English's Murphy Brown Special Episode written specifically for Morgan. Morgan was co-starring in ABC TV's Your Money or Your Wife in the spring with Joan Rivers. Then, she began the season of summer with Murder At The PTA Luncheon produced by Von Zerneck/Sertner. The show also featured Cindy Williams and Marla gibbs. Her next project took Morgan to Luxembourg to star in Harmony Gold's production Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady which also starred Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan played a part in the psychological suspense thriller which was produced exclusively by the USA Network garnering one of the biggest ratings in the network's history.
